Peace of Mind and Immediate Help 24 Hours A Day
The Good Samaritan Society TeleCare® program is an Edmonton, Alberta based support program which provides a nationally accredited 24-hour emergency response and telephone support service throughout western Canada.
In 1987, The Good Samaritan Society began its personal emergency response program with a community needs assessment and in collaboration with hospitals and community home care. The need for this service has been demonstrated by positive annual growth in client enrollments and continued support from hospitals, clinics, community centres, seniors apartments, assisted living facilities and other agencies who have approached TeleCare® to provide support and emergency response to individuals in their homes or businesses with staff working alone.
