In partnership with Capital Health, The Good Samaritan Society CHOICE© Program provides seniors with complex medical conditions who might otherwise be eligible for admission to a continuing care centre, the advantage of living at home by utilizing the support services made available at the site. Participants come to the centre to access a broad range of services. Transportation and home support are used as needed. The program incorporates medical, social and recreational rehabilitation and social work, supportive care and a hot main meal. A multi-disciplinary team including a physician, social worker, chaplain, nurse, rehabilitation therapists, dietician and other health workers work with a program manager.

The program provides participants with services of medical monitoring by physicians and nurses, pharmaceutical monitoring, health education, occupational and recreational therapy, personal care, hot meals and snacks, social work, spiritual care, and opportunities for friendship and social activities.

The CHOICE© Program operates five days a week however not all those registered attend every day. The program can accommodate up to 45 participants per day with a maximum registration of 90.
