Wexford Creek opened in Nanaimo in 2008 and is
nestled in a forest atmosphere.
There are a total of 40 one-bedroom private Assisted
Living suites which are intended for seniors who can no
longer live independently in the community.
Each suite is carpeted in the bedroom and living room
with vinyl flooring in all other areas. There is
plenty of storage space in each suite and is equipped
with a full size refrigerator and stove/range. The
typical size of each suite is 550 sq. ft. Call the

There are a total of 80 private complex care rooms.
Each room has a private bathroom and wheelchair
accessible shower. The complex care program
is intended for seniors that can no longer be supported
independently in the community and require 24-hour
professional care. Admissions are coordinated
through the Community Care Services division of
Vancouver Island Health Authority (250)755-6229.
The Dementia Care Cottages is housed in three
duplexes. Each duplex has 10 bedrooms, a kitchen,
dining room, two living rooms with fireplace, secure
access to a fenced courtyard, and bathing and laundry
rooms. This is a licensed complex care facility.
Admissions are coordinated through the Community Care
Services division of Vancouver Island Health Authority

Additional amenities and common facilities include
private dining room, chapel, multi-purpose room, dining
rooms, lounges/living rooms, kitchen, laundry,
recreation room, hairdressing room, large main entrance
lobby with secure entrance system, reception area, and
large garden courtyard.
